ADD EXERCISE TO YOUR RAW DIET

Exercise and Diet

One can not truly be healthy by diet alone. Exercise and/or fitness are as important as the diet when it comes to achieving a high level of health. Diet alone will not do it, as neither will exercise alone. The thing that prevents most people from enjoying the positive benefits obtained through a good exercise program (e.g. one that includes a variety of activities such as aerobic exercise, stretching and/or yoga, weight lifting, and sports) is typically lack of energy and/or time. A raw food diet is exceptional at increasing a person's energy level and it accelerates the numerous benefits achieved through exercising.

  Exercise:

  • promotes good respiration
  • promotes good digestion
  • brings more oxygen to our cells and carries away waste products
  • promotes elimination
  • promotes effective body repair
  • promotes good rest
  • conditions and strengthens internal organs
  • raises metabolism to burn energy better
  • draws more nutrients from the food we eat
  • promotes weight loss.
  • positively affects not only body, but mind and emotions as well. Exercise breaks us out of our thinking patterns (the constant 'chatter' that goes hand in hand with out high-stressed, busy lives), effectively making you feel like you hit the RESET button. After a good workout you feel more grounded and calm. You feel more powerful which makes you feel more confident.

Exercise leads to improved fitness levels. The components of fitness are:

  • Agility (the ability to change directions)
  • Balance
  • Flexibility (range of joint motion)
  • Endurance
  • Strength (the ability to exert force)

80% of how you look is related to how you eat. The raw food diet provides you with the foundation to build a beautiful, toned, sculpted body when combined with a good exercise program.
