FOODS FOR BEAUTY...

Many women will not consider going raw for their health, but they will do it for beauty! Going raw is a better solution to finding your natural beauty than the unnatural process of plastic surgery or cosmetic procedures. - Tanya Zavista

Though you may feel beautiful on the outside, nothing, NOTHING makes your beauty shine to others like when you are clean and beautiful on the inside - it just RADIATES from you!

Foods are the foundation of everything we are physically. Features and bone structure improve dramatically on the raw food diet. Large pores will actually become smaller when you include a 'green juice' (vegetable plant based juice) in your daily routine!

There are health and beauty benefits (directly and indirectly) in every whole, natural food on the market. The following list demonstrates how easy it is to 'enhance' one's appearance through the use of one of these easy to find fruits/vegetables.

APRICOTS Sometimes called the beauty fruit, apricots are rich in vitamins, minerals, enzymes, amino acids and essential oil - all helpful nutrients for keeping a clear, youthful complexion

AVOCADO Mashed avocado applied to the face or scalp is nourishing and conditioning. It is especially beneficial for dry skin and hair. Experience near ageless beauty simply by using avocado oil in place of other lotions and creams. Rub some on lips to keep them moist. Oils in the avocado will work internally toward the surface of the skin.

BERRIES Berries are high in antioxidants, vitamins and minerals that ward off cell damage and foster cell repair.

CARROTS Carrots are an excellent source of Vitamin A which cleans the blood and the skin. Carrots also contain high levels of antioxidants which prevent free radical damage of skin cells. Vitamin A is required for developing and maintaining skin cells. A deficiency of this vitamin can cause dry skin. Carrots are highly effective in treating complexion problems (acne, boils, cysts, and rough/dry skin). Carrots are also highly beneficial for vision problems.

CELERY Stiffness, creaking, or cracking in the joints may indicate a lack of organic sodium (the "youth" element that helps keep muscles limber and pliable) and a buildup of inorganic calcium deposits. Celery's rich organic sodium content dislodges these calcium deposits from joints and holds them in a solution until they can be eliminated through the kidneys. Celery also provides organic calcium and silicon for the repair of damaged ligaments and bones. It is rich in magnesium and iron, the two minerals that nourish blood cells, cleanse and wash fatty deposits, and eliminate accumulated wastes.

CUCUMBERS Cucumbers are an excellent source of silicon and other nutrients beneficial for both skin and hair. Simply juice a couple of organic cucumbers for an infusion of these nutrient rich minerals!

PAPAYA Contains a lot of enzymes; terrific for skin (internally and externally. Mash the fruit of the papaya and pat it on your face. Let it dry then rinse off. Your skin will 'glow'!

SEAWEED Sea vegetables are high in abundant minerals to nourish hair follicles and create strong, lustrous, beautiful hair.
